This is the non-drivers photo identification card that is issued to those over the age of twenty-one. Identification cards are recognized by a yellow banner above the main photograph in which the word “Pennsylvania” appears. The type of ID is also indicated in the quick identifier map near the bottom right corner as shown here with “ID.” Identification cards are valid for four years and expire the last day of the issue month. In this example, the card was issued in January, and therefore expires January thirty-first.
Identification cards do not list class, endorsements or restrictions, as they only relate to driving.
